ABOUT MICHAEL

Michael H. Leb, Esq. has been a full-time neutral since 2008. He has more than 35 years of broad-based legal and business experience, with a unique blend of traditional labor law, litigation and transactional expertise.

Michael has practiced at an internationally recognized law firm, held senior executive positions with two Fortune 50 companies, and represented plaintiffs at a top-tier trial boutique and as a solo practitioner.

Michael’s litigation experience includes both trial and appellate work in public and private sector labor and employment law, including class actions, as well as federal and state court commercial litigation.

Fee Schedule

RATES | CANCELLATION POLICY

Two-Party Mediation

Full Day Mediation (8 hours): $11,500*
Half Day Mediation (4 hours): $6,500*

 

Multi-Party Mediation

Full Day (8 hours) Only
Three to Four Parties $5,000*/party
Five or More Parties $4,500*/party

 

Mediation of Class or Representative Action

Full Day Mediation (8 hours): $15,000 total
Half Day Mediation (4 hours): $8,500 total

 

*Fees include pre-mediation calls, preparation time, mediation session, reasonable follow-up if not settled.

We recognize that each case is unique. Contact my case manager if you would like to discuss alternatives to the quoted rates.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Mediation is based on trust. In that spirit, our office does not charge a cancellation fee for mediations.  We do ask that you provide as much notice as possible so we can attempt to fill the scheduled time with another matter. Typically, we will not be able to schedule another matter with less than a week’s notice.  So please let us know as soon as you have decided the matter needs to be cancelled.

Arbitration varies by matter, a cancellation policy will be set forth in the engagement letter.

BILLING

Mediation payments are required in advance. Payments should be made in accordance with the instructions on the invoice.

Arbitration payments are billed twice: once before the hearing, with the final invoice due when the the award is issued.
